I think you Intended to include pictures in your post, but they don't seem to be there. Maybe just write the text of the message you get?

Yes, Thank you. I can not upload pictures. Here is the text of my problem:
I have found out for this 5 hours that I can generate code using any demo projects, when I launch MetaEdit+ for the first time after installing. However after loging out and when I launch programm for the second time none of projects can generate code because of this problem. Edited by stevek - 05.May.2023 at 01:41 |

Are you perhaps starting MetaEdit+ by simply double-clicking the executable under Program Files? That will start the program, but in the wrong directory: MetaEdit+ should be started in the directory with the repositories, Documents\MetaEdit+ 5.5 by default.
When started under Program Files, it won't find the demo repository, since that is under Documents\MetaEdit+ 5.5. You may have corrected that in Options|Paths to give an explicit path for the database roots file, and in the Startup Launcher to give an explicit path for the repository, allowing you to log in, but the generation and other operations will still be working in the wrong initial directory, so the expected reports subdirectory won't be found. The Windows Start menu includes an shortcut for MetaEdit+, so start it from there. If that's not the cause, try running a simple generator to see which directory MetaEdit+ is started in:
You can use the Open Folder button in the Generated Files list to open the current directory. Check that it's under your user's Documents. Of course you may also be deleting the reports directory manually for some reason. The default generators expect that to be there, and contain the metaedit.dot file and images subdirectory. If you want to clear out things you've generated earlier, allow those to remain.
