Preface
The goal of this tutorial is to familiarize the reader with
the features offered by MetaEdit+ Workbench. The reader will be provided with a
step-by-step exercise on how to implement a modeling language and then how to
use it. We will also take a look at how to extend the tool support by defining
various documentation reports for our modeling language.
To complete this tutorial, the following are
required:
 | MetaEdit+
Workbench |
 | A
web browser. It is advised to position the browser window on either side of the
screen and keep it in the smallest possible size to ensure that you are able to
read on the tutorial text and work with MetaEdit+ at the same time without
needing to focus on the browser
window. |
 | 1
hour of time to complete the basic exercise in Chapters 1 to 4 (Chapters 5 and 6
are optional and require more time to
complete) |
